Although NYC has experienced pretty cold days, Spring is still around, and it is warm enough for trees all around the city to keep on blooming. This upcoming weekend looks great to catch those flowers in white, yellow and pink and admire them. But with all due respect the true stars of the show for this weekend are the tulips.

Here are some pictures I took few days ago at Cobble Hill in Brooklyn

As you can see, Crabapples around the city are in full bloom and they are beautiful.

Eastern redbuds are also in full bloom. You can find then in pink, purple and white.

Kwanzan Cherry are in full bloom in most places In the city. However, the ones in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden are still in their pre-bloom stage, according to their cherry watch page.

Tulips

One of the most anticipated symbols of spring are the tulips. They are blooming in street’s planters, along Park Avenue and in many other places around the city.

Check out our list for the best places to catch the blossom in NYC which includes tulips as well.
